This book is a series of essays I collected that explore the interconnectedness of mycelium and other plant networks. Through these essays, the book discusses the survival and social abilities of plant networks, how mushrooms help foster human community, and how we can look to mushrooms to reevaluate the human identity and human experience. As the book progresses, the text grows ‘spores’ that litter the page and creep out from the center. Additionally, the pages of the book are cut close to allow for the spores to be seen even when the book is closed.
